Diesel Boiler Efficiency

Diesel boilers are also commonly known as fuel oil boilers. Of course, fuel oil boilers include not only diesel boilers, but also heavy oil boilers and methanol boilers. Our common diesel boiler tonnages are 6 tons of diesel boilers, 10 tons of diesel boilers, 20 tons of diesel boilers, etc., but 5 tons of diesel boilers are rare, but this cannot be an unexplained reason.

5 tons of diesel steam boiler can produce 5 tons of steam in 1 hour, 5 tons of diesel hot water boilers can heat 50,000 square meters, and 100 tons of hot water can be supplied in 1 hour. Common models of five-ton diesel boilers are WNS5-1.0-Y, WNS5-1.25-Y, WNS3.5-1.0 / 95 / 70-Y, SZS4-2.5-Y and so on. So, how much diesel is consumed by a five-ton diesel boiler every day?

We calculate according to the calculation formula of diesel boiler fuel consumption: diesel boiler fuel consumption per hour = 3600 * thermal power / heating value / boiler efficiency.

The thermal efficiency of a 5-ton oil-fired boiler is 3.5MW, and its combustion calorific value is 42.42Mj / kg. The general efficiency of our oil-fired boiler is up to 90%. Then the following calculation is based on a 5-ton diesel boiler: Oil volume = 3600s * 3.5MW / 42.42Mj / kg / 90% = 330kg.

It can be calculated from the above: 5 tons of diesel boilers consume 330kg of diesel fuel per day. Our 5 ton diesel boiler consists of upper and lower drums, membrane water wall, convection tube bundle, energy-saving device and condenser. After the fuel is burned in the furnace, the flue gas is discharged into the chimney through the convection tube bundle and the flue gas waste heat recovery device. Furnace adopts membrane water-cooled wall structure, the boiler adopts airtight inner protective plate with fully enclosed welding structure, and the furnace wall has good sealing; less smoke loss and high thermal efficiency.
